The Susan Malcolm Collection Story

In 1982, Susan and her family relocated to the Far East where Susan’s interest in jewellery design and retail began. During a visit to Thailand in 1985, Susan met one of the country’s leading jewellery designers who ignited a spark within Susan to launch a business involved in the design and importation of high end jewellery pieces and the Susan Malcolm Collection was born. When Susan and her family returned to North America, Susan launched a retail presence in Southern Connecticut featuring high end, imported precious stones and finished jewellery. Upon returning to Canada almost 20 years ago, Susan relocated her business to Toronto and today offers her exclusive designs and custom made pieces to a sophisticated market. The Susan Malcolm Collection’s white boxes and distinctive black label are now a well recognized symbol of elegance and good taste.

Most of the items in the Susan Malcolm Collection are designed by Susan and created by her craftsmen. Many of the stones used in her pieces have been acquired during travels to Europe, South America and the Far East. In addition to fine finished jewellery, The Susan Malcolm Collection also has a rapidly growing custom design business with a special focus on engagement and wedding rings.
